My daughter just graduated from Grade 12. Her teachers have been absolutely wonderful all the way through. I wanted to thank everyone who had a hand in her success, so I made this quilt for her school. My husband made a dowel for me to give them for the hanging sleeve. I'm hoping that it is hung somewhere where future students can get inspired like my daughter was. The words were cut from a panel called "Words to Live By" that I picked up at SewExpo in Puyallup, Washington in February. I'm taking the quilt to the school tomorrow. I'm wondering what kind of pen to use on the label on the back. Do you think a Sharpie will work?

I use Sharpies for my labels and have never had a problem. I use the fine point ones.

Very, very nice.

Wow, this is really beautiful. And the messages are simple truths, to live by. How grand of you. Congrats to the Grad and family.

Really cool that you did this, and it's beautiful too!!!

Awesome, I use the pigma pens you can buy at Joann's.
|
Be careful with Sharpies as they can spread out when you are writing . Do you have a fabric textile pen ?

Oh sorry  Love the wall hanging.. hope the school displays it so everyone can see it
