Someone asked for a quick baby quilt pattern and the suggestion was made for the disappearing 9 patch....I had never heard of it, so I checked out the pattern and thought it was great for a fussy cut "Winnie the Pooh" fabric I had stashed away. I think this turned out well, it is for a baby boy that is due to arrive in August....

Thanks again for the suggestion, everyone is so helpful on this message board, I love all the new friends I have "met" here. :!: :!: :!:

I did it so that the Pooh print was the top right and bottom left square in the original 9 patch, so when I cut the block into quarters those were the squares that did not get cut, then I took the other 2 and turned them in so that the little squares met in the middle of the "new" block....I had to think about it for awhile before I actually made the first one....

I have a question. On the 9 patch blocks you made for this, which ones were originally the corners? The upper right and Lower left? It sure turned out cute. You got my mind rolling for some "Peanuts" fabric that is poked away.
