beckyw 03-01-2011 01:17 PM

Great find.

decky 03-01-2011 01:24 PM

I sure don't get lucky like this. All my thrift stores have junk and are high priced to boot.

craftymatt2 03-01-2011 04:00 PM

Very well done, I don't know how you find this stuff at your thrift shops, I wen't to my again and all I could find was junk and nothing

Wow great find, lucky girl!

Margie 03-01-2011 04:16 PM

great job. I love wooden spools. Wish they still made them. A hundred years ago I saved them in large bags and donated to the kindergarten. I wish I had saved some for myself. OH WELL, the children enjoyed them.

ann31039 03-01-2011 04:22 PM

i never find any fabric and the goodwill and sal army is so high, but i did find a stack of quilting books for .25 and .50 at the habitat store this weekend.

oma66 03-01-2011 04:46 PM

wow, wow, wow...what a haul. I agree, thrift stores are the bes.

Grandma Peg 03-01-2011 04:50 PM

Nice find.

Sandee 03-01-2011 05:10 PM

Lucky you! I keep trying to find something at goodwill or a thrift shop but there's never anything at mine when i get there. I gotta keep trying after seeing all the great finds others have gotten!

grammy17 03-01-2011 05:13 PM

Great finds.

ga447 03-01-2011 05:14 PM

Love everything, I wish I had the wooden spools and all that thread.

sewbizgirl 03-01-2011 05:19 PM

What great loot... makes me want to find a nice thrift store.

Nettie Phillips 03-01-2011 05:23 PM

I agree. Thrift stores are the best but ours is starting to put
such high prices on the fabric. I can go to Jo Ann's and spend
less sometimes.

CherryPie 03-01-2011 06:12 PM

Great find!!! Maybe I ought to start going to our local thrift stores to see if I can get some neat deals. You'll have to show us whatever you make from your find. Happy quilting.

WTG I could never be that lucky

Ty 03-01-2011 08:09 PM

I hardly ever find fabric at a thrift store, but do find some at yard sales. You are one lucky lady. Enjoy.

Pickles 03-01-2011 08:19 PM

Good Haul , put those wooden spools in a plastic zip lock bag and toss them in the freezer for three months and they'll be good as new, it revitalizes the thread .. :D

Annevc 03-02-2011 04:00 AM

Fantastic find. I have gone to every thrift store, and GW in a 25 mile radius and have not found anything except quilting books. I will keep trying.

Good Job. I am a thrift store shopper. I haven't found anything like this, but I keep looking.

marmalade 05-14-2011 09:45 AM

I think you hit the jackpot for $20.

Around here, the thrist stores have gone crazy with their pricing. I can't find those kind of deals.
