Thimbleberries Sampler
 

A few months ago I received a donation of several completed sampler type blocks done mostly in Thimbleberries fabric, as well as some leftover fabric. The piecing was done with precision, so I picked out 12 of the blocks and framed them to be the same size. Then I started bordering, using up the leftover fabrics, as well as some from my stash. Most were Thimbleberries, but not all. My friend did the quilting, and she did beautiful work!

My photography has not captured the true colors, but you get the idea.

The quilt measures a little over 80 x 60, and I will be pleased to enter it in the Bible Camp quilt auction in August.

Thanks! This was my first experience in doing a pieced border with small squares, and I am pleased that it came out even.

Wonderful!!! I love Thimbleberries. I have two totes full of just Thimbleberries fabric I'm waiting for the right pattern to use it on. I get it out sometimes just to look at it.
