Thinking of Starting Over

There are 20 blocks in this, and I have about 4 done. I don't like that the template was not large enough for the blocks. I thought I would put something else in the little corners to fill it in, but now I think I want to take the stitching out and just do something simple. This has been a UFO now for several months, and I want to get back to it. I am wondering if I would like you to pull me back or tell me to go ahead and do another pattern for my stitching.

I'm not a pro, but I think if you extended this pattern, echo it if you will, you would have what you're looking for. Just a suggestion.

yep, you could echo that design. or maybe do something in the near by ones that fall into those blocks.

I have used that pattern myself. It looks great. Maybe do some cross hatch behind it.

I think CJsews has a really good idea. Crosshatching would fill the block up. It would look good.

Or a smaller design over the corners where the blocks meet. Large enough to fill in the block.

You can copy your stencil and enlarge it to suit your needs. I've also done it at Staples onto clear plastic which I just had to cut out

It looks alright, I think anyway.
