Hi, this is a quilt that I made 10 years ago for my grandson. He loved Thomas The Tank. I did not have any pattern to go by. I just looked at a picture of Thomas The Tank and drew it freehand. I thought it was cute and he liked his quilt.

That is the best Thomas quilt I've seen! My daughter would love it! She's always been a Thomas fan :)

I am still learning how to navigate this site. I am not very good with the computer. I'm glad you liked my quilt. Sharon

That is soooo! Cute.

Mama Sharon 08-22-2010 03:47 PM

Yes I did draw it freehand and appliqued it to the fabric. It was a lot of fun coming up with my own pattern.

Oh boy. My grandson loved Thomas also and I made him a quilt, but I used Thomas fabric. Yours is fantastic.

Cute quilt that any boy would love to have. Thank's for sharing your quilt and idea for drawing the pattern.

Absolutely adorable quilt! We introduced our two granddaughters to Thomas the Train. We fully believed the girls would have not had a proper childhood without playing with trains :-) This is the nicest design I have seen.

Thank you, so much, for sharing with us, Mamma Sharon.
