Awesome quilt. And I love your quilting (as always)

So, I'm confused about the flannel batting. Are you just using a piece of flannel off a bolt or is there such a thing as quilt backing made from flannel?

Your quilting reflects the time period of the fabrics very well. They're going to be more than pleased with the result.

Don't feel bad, I don't know enough yet myself. I do know there is quilting flannel much like they used to use years ago. Any place that sells quilting fabric should carry it.

Thanks Barb. I wasn't sure what design to use so I just went for feathers. I should have done my homework for period quilting. I did find out that a quilt is dated by the latest fabric used in the quilt.
