Gorgeous work! Very well done. I am thinking you drew the design onto the fabric with a washable pen of some sort and then followed your drawn lines with the thread sketching techniqe?

Wonderful! Thanks for sharing. I had made a fabric post card and I thread painted a vintage machine - just winged it. No where near as nice as this, so I'll definiately investigate this technique.

To find out more about thread painting go to www.nancyprince.com Check under thread painting and she has some info on it. Basically it is doing embroidery on your domestic machine. You do it with the feed down.
