We made a laminated paper with the story on it for when we display it at a few shows that are in the spring and summer in our area. We are not going to attach it to the quilt per say because we want it to be used, but when it goes on display there will be the story for people to read. It is fnny that you mentioned the story because we had already done just that and have marked our dates for the shows in our area. There are some nice shows at different times of the year here and we can not for it to be seen, for granted it is not the prettiest and not likely to win any kind of show, but will be a wonderful attraction.

This brought tears to my eyes. What a joy it must have been for the opportunity to finish this quilt. I had the pleasure to finish one that was my husbands Aunt . When I was working on it...it was as though I could see her sitting so intently making stitch by stitch. It bothers me that there are many quilt tops in closets that will never be finished
Thanks for sharing the story of this awesome quilt

What a wonderful story. It looks so much better than I had imagined. It is beautiful and should be treasured for many years to come. You did a wonderful thing.

What a treasure! It's so wonderful that someone who loves it ended up with it.

You completed a legacy quilt and put more love into it. Grandma will be proud of all the care you took to finish it and added a special touch to it. It was always a swan.
