Three more mini OBWs, made from strip scrap ends and a few leftover blocks taken apart and recut. These are all made from the same fabric, which is an Asian inspired print of koi and blossoms.
They each measure 12ins x 13ins. I did alot of outlining fmq on the flowers etc and fish scales - easier to see on the second one as I used gold metallic thread for it. Fun to make and easy to quilt! This is the original fabric and obw quilt I used the scraps from http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-46600-1.htm Blossoms Autumnal glints Bouillabaisse (which is a traditional Provencal fish stew from Marseille) |
Those are beautiful , How big of triangles did you use? These would be great to put all together into a big quilt.

Thanks, the triangles are cut at 2ins and the hexagons are 2-5/8ins diameter finished.
