Tilda kitty quilt
 

Finished piecing this quilt for my granddaughter, a freebie on the https://www.tildasworld.com/ website. Hope to quilt it as soon as my backing arrives.
I used machine embroidery for the kitty faces. The cheeks are minky which I appliqued on.

SusieQOH, I like the challenge of precision piecing and figuring out how to make a block. It takes me usually several blocks to understand the instructions and carry them out correctly. The hardest part with this pattern was the tail and bird part. Not exactly hard, but small pieces. So to get it all to fit together the scant 1/4" was very important. You might commit to the pillow and see if you enjoy it. I am not fast in any part of quilting, so I just accepted that this was going to be a marathon and not a sprint. Feels good to be this far. I like Tilda fabrics and the whimsy of her patterns. I purchased the windy day kit, but not going to start it any time soon.
