Today's Little Finishes
 

I was feeling my "sewjo" today! I finished the placemats that I started well over a year ago. I made a set of four. Two are in the washing machine, having just been bound but they are all the same. They match my tablecloth that I made (picture also included,) though I finished the tablecloth ages ago.

I also made a cover for my Happy Planner today. I watched the tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNI_9cKNwxw. Rather than using a single layer for the pockets and sewing down one edge, I used a piece of fabric folded in half. I also put some fusible interfacing on the outer piece to add some stability. Lastly, I sewed the piece of elastic to the back so I could wrap it around the front without removing it.

My last thing that I did today was to make my sewing machine pad based on the MSQC tutorial.
