Today DH had the day off also, so we headed for the hills! No real destination in mind, but we love to go antiquing. I was also thinking that the mountains would be nice and I thought I remembered seeing some antique stores the last time I went to Wytheville, VA. So, we end up in Fancy Gap, VA and the Antique store is no longer an Antique store.... but a FABRIC Store!!!!! So, the pictures below are what I came home with. 15 yards of Christmas fabric and (3) 12 Days of Christmas panels and a few shape templates for quilting, plus for other crafts--- 10 yards of rattail, 10 yards of elastic, 4 packs of pipe cleaners, 160 yards of lace, 2 spools for 28 gauge craft wire, and a button gauge and point turner just because it was there! lol. The best part... ALL of that was only $104.00. I've been doing the happy dance ever since! :-D :-D :-D

The entire haul

I bought three! One for me, one for DMIL, and one for DSIL. Now, whether I have all three ready by Christmas this year is another matter. Have you decided what you're going to do with yours? I really want the final product a bit larger, so I'm thinking adding wider sashing between the blocks and more borders (?). Although it is cheat friendly constructed and could easily be finished off with very little effort.
