So I messed around this afternoon trying to put together a small purse, possibly for my little sister's birthday. She's twelve years old, and I'm wondering if this one is TOO colorful or too childish for her. What do ya think?

I like the polka dots, but think that the stripe is a little on the smaller-child side than for a 12 year old girl. I guess that's awkwardly stated but I didn't want to sound too abrupt.

I would find out what colors she likes and make her a different purse, but I like the purse good job

Twelve yr. olds are sooo mature for their ages now than back in the day when I was twelve! You know your sis best, so if you think she'd like it...then I say, go for it!

Maybe I'll give this one to my eight year old sister and make the 12 year old something more mature looking (she does wear a lot of earthy tones, lol).
