you can have as many borders as you want. I would use a color to break up the blocks.

dbries - I didn't know this was you! I want to do the neons - but I think it would be nice to make it a second quilt. I actually was going to use the green, blue and yellow in Gadge's quilt, with a dotty black (something like stars or bubbles). That was future project :-D

The neons just seem too bright to me--they distract and clash with the soft gentle top... so green.

I think I would save the neons for their own quilt, maybe with some prints in bright colors. But the colors in this quilt are lovely and soft and need a border that matches. Maybe beige or a soft pink or green or blue. But the neons clash to me...
