I am still cleaning and sorting and still finding partial projects.I just found these. My grand daughter has Chrohn's disease and every 6-7 weeks we spend the day with her getting her treatments so I take hand work along.I thought this was a cool shape, cut them and put them away.I just found them-now placemats, mug rugs ,wall hanging-what to do with them. All ideas welcome.

Use a stores shopping bag and place them like flower pettals along wigh bias stems and make leaves........
|
those would look awesome appliqued onto white squares and turned into a quilt for you Granddaughter or another little person going through treatments.
|
oh-both are great ideas and I have enough to do both too.thanks a bunch
|
I like so many of the ideas I saw. A mod quilt with blocks and sashing or arranged on a solid background. Too many choices. I always say every quilt has it's time.

Whatever you do, show us your final result. Prayers to your dear granddaughter.

There is a book out there
Just add flowers... check it out :) |
I would applique them to a white or off white background fabric and make a quilt.
|
I would applique them on a quilt and use jumbo rick rack as the stem and add some leaves and you would have a cheery quilt or wall hanging. Maybe put a yoyo in the center of the flower to add some dimension.

It looks like the makings of a wonderful quilt!
I pray your granddaughter is doing well! :) |
