nannya54 05-15-2010 07:02 AM

It's fun and brought a big smile to my face. You have to have some of those. You did a great job. Are you going to bind it with the pink?

Feathers 05-15-2010 07:15 AM

No! It is not too wild...it is so pretty. Love the colors.

Joan 05-15-2010 07:15 AM

It gets high marks with me----makes quilting look contemporary and modern!

gollytwo 05-15-2010 07:19 AM

it doesn't look wild to me at all; and, it's lovely

alaskasunshine 05-15-2010 07:28 AM

bstanbro 05-15-2010 09:24 AM

Yes, I will bind it with the pink.

Personally, I like a colorful quilt. To me, it makes it more noticeable. A bland looking quilt can be kinda overlooked.
This one is cheerful and pretty.

JEM65 05-15-2010 10:09 AM

Put on your sunglasses and quilt away! It is a striking color combination - I love it! SASSY is the word for it!

Debra Mc 05-15-2010 11:38 AM

No. It's great. I hate dull stuff

ann clare 05-15-2010 11:48 AM

craftybear 05-15-2010 11:54 AM

nwm50 05-15-2010 12:12 PM

Huh...oh excuse me, I was too busy looking at this! Pretty.

QUILTEMS 05-15-2010 12:46 PM

Yes it's too wild, maybe you should send it to me, I'll take care of it for you.

Boston1954 05-15-2010 12:48 PM

I find it striking. I tend towards the darker, and sometimes do not think of the lighter and brighter. Then when someone else does it, I say WOW!! Good job.

Pam 05-15-2010 03:52 PM

That is just plain fun!

wvdek 05-15-2010 04:50 PM

I agree-wild and wonderful!

Twinnie 05-15-2010 04:59 PM

I love those colors. It takes me back to the days in the 60'
s of fearlessly using color and pattern, like in the Marimekko and Scandinavian design. Very modern then, and modern now. I hope you don't mind if I copy the picture to use as inspiration.

Fabric and colors can never be too wild!

Annz 05-15-2010 08:12 PM

Wild? What do you mean? This is very uplifting.

anglgrl 05-15-2010 08:49 PM

I love hot pink its really one of my favorite colors too.

Gramof6 05-15-2010 10:57 PM

If this is not fabric you would normally choose, you would natually feel that it is too wild. Personally I love it and think it is happy, bright, mood lifting, & a great quilt for Summer after the Winter blahs. It is wonderful! You do such fabulous work & Thanks for sharing.

Grandma Cindy 05-16-2010 06:29 AM

Heavens no, it is gorgeous.

omak 05-16-2010 07:02 AM

You have a gift for color balance and combination. Great!
I would never have selected that combination of colors, but you made them all very appealing, and that fuschia (?) in the center with a thin border to the outside ... such an elegant touch!
Please! do not tell me this is easy <g> ... but, you surely made it all look very appealing. Good job!<wave>

Chele 05-16-2010 07:14 AM

Gorgeous!

Twinnie 05-16-2010 08:23 AM

I'd be curious as to the designs in the middle of the blocks. Are they squares of different kinds of fabrics? If it's not too much trouble, maybe we could see a close-up of a couple?

JudeWill 05-16-2010 08:39 AM

I like it!

you don't need sun glasses , it is really lovely and vibrant------do not like dull colours.

I always remember that Mother Nature at her very best uses every color of the rainbow, including the rainbow, and there aren't any rules about one color going with another. She's the most subdued in the cold, colorless seasons, which can be beautiful, too, I guess, but I like spring, summer and fall, and nothing can be too bright.
