I took a class with Gail Garber, called "The Goose is Loose", on how to draft this kind of design and how to make these free form flying geese and other shapes. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and I had so much fun! The geese are paper foundation pieced, and the whole quilt goes together like a puzzle. The dimensions are about 18 x 24 inches.
