No apologies. I rushed this as opposed to my usual procrastinating.

Awesome! I am hand piecing squares I received as part of a club from Keepsake Quilting many, many years ago. As part of the club they sent a box of 1 1/2" X 1 1/2" squares of about 250 different fabrics in their collection at the time. I had two boxes of these squares and decided to take them on a road trip to work on while riding in the car and in the evenings. I am really enjoying it, but it is taking a lot of time. Right now I have 15 squares in a row, 14 rows done and started the 15h row. I have enough squares for 25 rows. Then I'm going to put a 5" border of neutral around it and applique a vine and flowers with my own scraps for a wall hanging. I can't imagine making a throw or bed-sized one! What perseverance you have!

It's beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

I'm so envious of your work...I learned a long time ago that I couldn't do the postage stamps and end up with anything that resembled a straight line....they sorta look like a zigzag when I add the second line... :-P ...that's okay, though. SOME of us do them well!

Sounds great! I can't even begin to imagine hand piecing, wow, that's awesome. There's a thread on here doing a challenge on postage stamps: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-144197-1.htm if you want to join in.

I thought the same thing because of the little squares, but after I figured out that I can't do it perfectly aligned, I just kept on going. It's mine and besides who is going to notice anyway, LOL :)
