the colors looked good until I sewed them together-then I thought yuk.it is folded here but is queen sized and I cannot make myself finish it.

Can you applique or embroider into the green areas something that will bring some brown into it?

This way you would have two quilts, :lol: then should you decide you still do not want to finish the quilt(s)..... they would make really great silent auction donations for your Guild. :thumbup: Edited to read: cutting the quilt apart at each block, instead of taking out seams( then re-do as above).... |

The right quilting can make that little guy an heirloom if it's done right...

It is really hard to find a quilt that has masculine appeal. I think you will have it if you quilt it in dark brown thread. That will give movement to the plain brown paper sack looking fabric. I also liked the idea of embroidery or something to tone down the green. Trust us, and finish it.
