I wonder why something’s go easier the first time than others? Well since my sister wanted a Christmas topper/mat I was able to just need to pick up two fabrics the rest came from my stash. More than likely will not make it again, but who can say? So here is the Christmas version.

You can find all the information on the previous post. I’m not where I can write it down. But you can find the info on the thread “I got it done “.

It is beautiful! I so understand what you say about the first time being easier than the second. It is not unusual that a test block or my first one of a block goes easier that subsequent blocks. It drives me crazy when that happens. I find that then it is time to slow down and reexamine what I am doing or not doing.

Tish05 10-12-2019 06:33 AM

That's very pretty. It will brighten up the table at Christmas.

Kitsie, I know I fell in love with it when I saw it and believe it or not I got that at Walmart. They had fat quarter's and yardage I only needed a fat quarter for this pattern so it worked great.

Claire123, I actually didn't even know if I should do a bias binding on it because of the angles but found out just a regular binding seems to go around the angles with no problems.

BonnieJP 10-15-2019 01:33 AM
