I found a quilt picture that looks just like Ali'e quilt. I cut it out of a very old magizine, calico fabrics. Its hanging on my design wall as a future project. just love it. it is the same one. I just have the picture.

Very very early in my quilting "career" I made the comment to an experienced quilting friend that I didn't know how to use a seam ripper--they just never seemed to work for me. Her response was "if you are going to quilt, you had better learn how to rip". Needless to say, I have learned how to rip--it surely does seem to go hand-in-hand with quilting. Beautiful quilt tops.

Kitsie,
Your quilts are beautiful! I understand sewing things the opposite way! I've employed many a seam ripper! Are you joining the group on either Friday or Saturday this week? We're going to the quilt show at the Oregon Gardens. Meeting together at 12pm on Friday and I think Saturday they are meeting at 10. Here's the thread...http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-87202-1.htm |
Thanks Karen. Won't be able to meet for the weekend. Enjoy the show! I'm on barn duties as my "kids" are going off to a show.
Hi to everyone! |
I haven't found the unsew button on my machine either! It certainly would have come in handy many times on my last couple of projects, and my friends could have used it as well rather than borrowing my seam ripper. Love your quilt inspector. Looks as if she/he is doing a great job!
