These are some bags I made to donate to a craft fair at work. The big one is Amy Butler's reversible shopper. It's huge! I put it next to a Singer 201 for perspective. The other 3 are called Bella bags.

Gotta love those fabric choices!! Wonderful! Do you like the big grommets??? Are they easy to use? I like the way they look, but have been put off by the price of them.

really really nice bags. I love the brown one with just a touch of color. Great Job.

The grommets are very easy to use. They come in different sizes and colors and are sold in the curtain section of Joanns type stores. They come with a template and they just snap together. I also use a little fabric glue.

How did you do your handles, do they cross the top of the bag into the hole on the opposite side? Kind of give is it a "natural closure"?
wait, never mind, each strap is sewed to itself above the grommet... kind of can see it on the navy straps. :wink: |
