Tote for a friend...disappearing pocket
 

This is a gift for a friend. She picked out the pattern and fabric and requested an outside pocket for her cell phone so i added one for her.

I really like your tote the title disappearing pocket made me laugh because once I made a tote and inserted the linning wrong and it gave me 3 disappeared pockets lol

I gave this purse to my friend yesterday and she LOVED it! Now she would like for me to make one for her daughters' Christmas gift . She said that she expected to pay me for it. She wanted to buy the one I gave her but That was never my intention.

She is that friend who. Brings meals over when you are sick, always willing to help where needed. She does a ton of community volunteering and a few years ago when one of dear friends was dying from breast cancer, she went over to the house to plant the spring flowers that her friend was no longer able to do. I was quite impressed at that one! She loves to garden and I recall she made sure that garden was put together after her friend passed. Comforting the grieving husband......so...the point is...i wanted to do something for HER. Of course I will make her daughter a purse and I will ask her to donate the "price" to a favorite cause of her choice.
