I vote with the rest - "Christmas in July." Give him more time with the quilt. Knowing he is wrapped in all the love you put into the quilt might make him feel even better.

I agree with the posts about giving it to him now. I had been planning one for my dad for Christmas, but he died suddenly in May without ever having a quilt from me. |
