This is a quilt I am making for my boyfriend's nephew. My Boyfriend is the one holding up the quilt, and I even got him to sew part of the binding on.

I predict he's never going to put it down! It's fabulous! It's just so...so...happy!! :D :D
Is it all pieced? Or appliqued? Or both? |
That is a totally cute quilt for a very special lucky boy. I love all the striking primary colors you used. Great job.

You did a great job on that! An idea struck me....you could put his middle name and last name on the other two flatbed cars!

Thanks to all of you for your wonderful comments. I am very excited to see how well it came out, I was a little worried there for a while. The quilt is both pieced and appliqued (with a satin stitch around the pieces).
And no Andrew hasn't seen the quilt yet. He was born on January 16th, so he is less than a month old, so I don't think he'll have much of an opinion, but I like to make all the new babies quilts when they are born. |
Well, isn't that as cute as can be!
I like to make all the new babies quilts too. It's getting to be quite a few- my husband has 6 brothers & sisters and their children (& ours) are having children now. Jo |
That is adorable and you've put a lot of work into it. What a treasure.

The pattern was in the November 2007 issue of Quick Quilts, I don't have an electronic version of the pattern. You can order the magazine at quickquilts.com if you want it.
