I totally forgot to post pictures of the treadle I found at a second hand store..

It was marked $50....
I see all these really pretty finds and this is what I found lol.
No, I did not buy it.
The cabinet is falling apart. It looked as if it had been in a flood....
But I had to share it with you all.
I am not sure if it is still there but I could call if anyone wanted it and was willing to drive to Huntsville to get it lol.

I hope someone will get it and restore it

You could post a link to this in the Vintage Sewing Machines Shop so the people who like treadles could see it. I'll bet someone would want it if only for the irons. They are hard to find. They also do wonders with the old machines.

I guess before I put it out there in the vintage area I should contact the thrift store to see if it is still there. It was in REALLY bad shape - but yeah, the treadle part itself looked nice. The head and the table though look like they have had a difficult life lol. Either well used or abused...

For that price, the base with a new table top would make a nice table.
Agree - looks like the machine & cabinet were sadly neglected!

I called the store - it is still there. I was wrong though - it's $60....
I'll repost it over in the Vintage area...
uh. where is the vintage sewing machine area??

To be honest, I wouldn't pay $50 for that machine in that condition. I think at $60 they are asking way too much. It's going to take both time and money to restore it.

Oops! Just took a look at the back of the machine. It's missing parts *and* the back looks like it is either full of mold or rusty. Probably the only valuable part of the whole setup is the treadle; the machine head looks to be in terrible condition, and you said the cabinet is in bad condition too.
