My son found this in a friend's Grandmother's garage. She had passed recently and he was helping to clean things out. His friend knows that I sew, so asked if I would want it. I love it. It needs repaired on one side. The part that holds the drawers on the left side is missing, so we are hoping to find someone local to restore it. We have all 6 drawers. The decorations appear to be carved into the wood. Here are some pictures.

Side where drawers go, notice the turned wood.

We were in Perth in 1984. Perth is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been in, but to get there was a nightmare. We drove from Melbourne via Adelaide, across the Nullarbor to Perth. We pulled a caravan in 40º weather.
Quite an experience.

I truly love art nouveau, it is gorgeous!
Be very careful with the pressed designs - and veneer that likes to pop off.

She's gorgeous!

That is beautiful. If you can't find anyone to restore it or if you decide that you would like to do it yourself, here is a link with instructions on how to work on it.
If you scroll down to "The Wood Shop" and click on that link, it will take you to a page with a lot of information on how to restore the wood.

Yep, Perth is small, beautiful and I think the most isolated city in the world. What's more, treadle's are very thin on the ground. Most seem to be on the eastern seaboard....still I wait and hope for one to come my way!.

gorgeous :D

lovely!!! I have the same one! Unfortunately, the machine was rusted quite badly. She works, but isn't very pretty anymore. But the cabinet sits at the end of my hallway and looks so pretty.
