tree skirt

Here is the tree skirt I just finished for my tree upstairs. We moved from a large house down to a villa and downsized a lot. Have a small tree upstairs and a large one downstairs. This is the first post I have done in a while.

Great tree skirt (and I agree the room looks so pretty)
What pattern did you use?
wow amazing
It's very pretty. Did you have a pattern, or come up with this on your own? I'd love to see the redwork pillow on the bed, too...
What a nice job...I love your choice of fabrics...Christmas...but not overwhelming.
It came out great!
Very pretty.

Very pretty tree skirt.

I used a 9 degree wedge ruler that I had gotten from my Mom. She had it & never used it so I gave it a try. It all depends on the way you turn the ruler to cut the wedges to make them come out this way. Nancy's Notions has a 10 degree wedge she was advertizing that gave me the idea. Hers had a pattern with the ruler. Thanks for all the great comments.

Oooo- pretty! I keep telling myself I need to make a skirt for our tree in the family room. Still haven't done that; now I have inspiration. Thank you!

You inspired me, I'll have a quilted tree skirt by next Christmas
