All you need is a good border fabric (I got the blue along with about 3 others from Fabric.com and the red from my LQS as a Christmas stripe) and an equilateral triangle ruler. Cut a strip, I think I used 8 inches, and use your ruler. After you cut about 6 or 7 triangles each way, start placing them together in different ways. I used a yard of fabric, which was plenty, but it depends on your stripe, too, and its repetition. The pattern is triangle frenzy, but I didn't buy it, as I figured it out. I quilted on the stripe lines.

I also had difficulty finding border or stripe fabrics that suited me. I have a collection of coordinating fabrics that I plan to use to make my own.
