...then when the spring thaw turns all that to water...another problem......

Last week our water heater decided to die. That had to be replaced. We have a plow guy take care of the driveways, we have an L shape cause we're on a corner. One is 150 Ft and the other is 75 Ft. We've been paying over $200 a week for the past 4 weeks to this guy. But dh had shoulder surgery and could never take care of this amount of snow. When this all melts, we have water issues, with a sump pump in the basement. We always have a spare on hand. If we loose power, the generator is on the back deck and there are 6 Ft drifts around the deck. But more importantly, I have a treadle for backup......priorities.

Beautiful quilt! I think you can keep all that snow though-!

Your quilt is beautiful. I don't want the snow.

Great job on that UFO, and you're doing great on your quilting too!
My parents are from the Hyde Park area and don't miss those winters at all!
Or the horridly humid summers. Or the mosquitoes. Mom reminds me every
so often so that I can thank her again for not making me grow up there....

Oh My Goodness. And I complained when we had 2" of snow in Southern CA. But then it very rarely snows where I live. You are doing very nicely with your FMQ. I always love to curve in and out with my squares and diamonds.

What a nice quilt! You have done some very nice quilting on it having all that time on your hands from being homebound. I don't envy you that weather, but, you are making great use of your time. Kudos on a ufo finish!
