There is a display for Art Town Reno at some public spaces like the library and a few other spots, if I can talk my company into going I will get some shots of them to show.

My favorite was the aplique roses on the white background. The quilting is wonderful on that one.

I had a really good time at the show. It was very small compaired to the Long Beach show. But there are the most talented women in this area. It is held at the Harrah's Automobile Museum and It is so cool to see all the cars as you walk though the exibits.
The pictures of Joyce's quilts was last years featured quilter. She is talented, and so nice. The new 2009 featured quilter should be posted soon. Also a sweet lady and extremely talented.

If you take her two cherry quilts and put them together, you get mine!!!!! I swear I did not see hers first- I actually started mine when I had my son and he is almost 6 now. I didn't even have internet access back then! That is so crazy!! I have to meet this person! She is my quilting soul sister.

Are those hankies for skirts in the second picture? What a cute idea!

RedGarnet222 07-28-2009 08:39 PM

Are they just the best?? So fun ...
Yes those are hankies as the sunbonnet sue dresses. I think the pattern is in that booklet by house of white birches about hankies.
