What do you think?

I think atleast a thin solid border first, then you could use that. :-D

If I do only one border, I'd probably do a 2" border of this. I'm trying to get this finished with the material I have on hand instead of buying more.
BUT!!! I just remembered I have a ton extra of the fabric I'll probably use for the backing. Lemme snap some pics! |

How about this?
Light border, then the dark? Close up of the pattern for the backing |

I like it better now. Sure is going to be pretty when it is done.

I vote for the little border added. :)
|
I don't think I would use it at all. Just the dark brown border.....JMHO :D
p.s....your second picture is much better! |
i like the white boarder in between it helps frame the quilt out.

I got the cream border on it and decided I like it just like this. I'll add a deep aqua border to make it pop!
Thanks everyone. I needed to noodle it through and I appreciate all the opinions. |
Looks good so far!!
|
I mean an aqua binding. No more borders. Or maybe a chocolate binding. I'm so fickle with my fabrics.
|
Great! Thats perfect.
|
I think a inch border of the dark color you used in your quilt, then a three i8nch border of the material on the left of your quilt picture.
|
Yes, I prefer the narrow inner border of the light fabric before the darker for the outer border. It'll definately be a good break between the center and the darker border.
|
I love those fabrics. Just a lovely quilt!
|
I love it with the smaller white border and than the brown. Looks great. I can't wait to see it finished.
