I'm going to try this method soon too. I have blacks, whites, and reds for my son's high school graduation. I think this will fit the bill quite nicely.

Pretty, I made a tube quilt no too long ago. I used purple, lavender and a purple print on white, I think it turned out very well.

do you use the forked pins to get your seams and points to match up perfectly? Pretty fabrics.

I am addicted to finding new patterns. tube quilting has become my next project.

Obviously not, my seams are not even close, But in all fairness, it is only an experiment. I will conquer it one day.

did you cut your own strips or use jelly rolls?

The points don't really look too far off. Since it's blue and blue, totally passable!

I did a quilt and also had trouble with the points, never did get them really good but once finished & quilted it looked pretty good!
