What a fun, happy quilt. You were a genius when you ran out of scraps & pieced some tumbler blocks. Me on the other hand would have gone into a panic & running to the fabric store to find more to match. :D You don't need any more practice on feathers....it's best you move on to some other quilt design that you are "not so good at". I love looking at your work & your talent!
