Wonderful - looks just like blocks. Is it hard to do? It is on my list of "to dos"

Shemjo 12-21-2009 06:16 PM

Very nice tumbling blocks. You did a nice job on piecing and QITD. I have not done a whole quilt in that, but played with the blocks. Fun to see just what you can do with them. Love your colors.

From another in Misery!

totally awesome quilt. I've always thought I'd like to attempt this pattern but was afraid to. It looks complicated

Very pretty quilt. I love your choice of colors-the contrast makes the blocks pop. I agree-it looks complicated. Are those all Y-seams? (Those really scare me!! LOL)

I tried this, using the technique that Klue suggested. I was able to get each individual blocks done, but for some reason, just couldn't seem to get all of them put together neatly. So, GREAT JOB!

Very nice choice of colours.
I particularly like the quilting you did. It looks as nice on the back as on the front.

Me too. Please tell me it was easy.

LisaT 12-23-2009 04:32 AM

OP - love your quilt. That pattern is just so neat.

Here's how I did mine for those asking if it's hard to do. This is a strip piecing method. Granted I took a class for it so I had someone there to help me but if I can do it anyone can do it!
