You gals did a nice job and brown is the "in" color for babies lately. My DIL wanted brown & blue and brown & pink when her twins were born.

How good to know that the quilt goes together fast. I just bought her book and plan on starting a baby quilt next month for my new nephew. Thanks for sharing!

I like it and I think the brown makes it look even more dimensional. I know what you mean about the dark colors though, some friends just had their 1st baby and they painted the nursery forest green. It turned out to be a girl.

It looks fantastic,I made a burgandy one sometime ago for my cuz.He loved it also.Very Nice Job and the brown work great in my opinion.I know its a hot color for babies it and aqua or brown and pink for girls of course.

I suggest also getting an 8" Clearview Triangle ruler. That's what she uses in her youtube video and it's what her booklet lists. (get the ruler that has only 3 edges. there's another one with the same name that has 4 edges. that's not the one she uses. if you go to google images and search for clearview triangle ruler you'll see the 2 diff. shapes)
Or as long as you know how to cut 60 degree angles with a reg. ruler you'll be ok.
