Jetnica sent me this quilt and it is a collection of all different turtle fabrics and also her nephews baby clothes and her turtle t-shirts. There are many different textures and fabrics in this quilt..she sent it to me saying I could be as creative as I wanted...so I just went with the theme and used three different colors of thread....you can't really tell though because they were really light and I tried to put a different design in every swatch of fabric..some are repeated...I needed to use whimsy sort of designs and it killed me not to include a feather or two because those are my favorite..but they were small! I also used a double layer of batting just to make all the designs pop out a bit more!
It is flying back home today!
