Turtle Rag Quilt
 

This pattern intimidated me after I bought it. Couldn't believe I found a tute on You Tube. I gave it to my DGS for his 1 year BD. The pillow was from a friend, so perfect pairing. It hasn't been washed, so the chenille effect hasn't happened yet.

SUPER CUTE!! A friend and I have the one that is a cat or dog or bear. She made 2 dogs for grandkids, I haven't done mine yet. This turtle is Adorable!! Great Job!

when i saw the headline turtle rag quilt thought to myself this is going to be cute and sure enough it is really cute making one of these animal rag quilts has been on my bucket list for a long time awhile back a member posted a teddy bear rag quilt that was cute so much insperation here on QB

He looks like he is enjoying it. Be really careful when doing the first wash. If your plumbing pipes are not large, you could be calling a plumber to unclog your pipes. There is so much that shreds off these quilts you have to be so careful.

I appreciate all the kind words and letting my show off my adorable DGS. Thanks for the washing warnings. I knew the dryer lint issue, but not the washing. Maybe I'll tell my DD to take it to a laundromat with a big front loader for the first washing.
