Our sewing guild's community service project this year was Painted Turtle Pillows for Paul Newman's Hole in the Wall camps for seriously ill children. They asked that we make more boy themed pillows than girls so I made several boy themed and the rest were generic. I made 16 in all! Guess I'll just have to replace all that fabric now. Darn! When stuffed, the body, head, feet and tail will all be puffed up.
Just a few - Purchased some of the fabric from board members each turtle has a mate with fabric reversed |
Oh,I love those!

What an adorable idea. Is it your own pattern?

They are so cute. Ineed to draw this out if I can to make a quilt with the turtles on it.
|
I should have mentioned, the pattern is copyrighted and to be used exclusively for the Paul Newman camps. They will sell the pattern for $15.00 but it carries restrictions.
