Twin Scrappy

I finished another quilt, this one is 69 x 96. A little large to allow for wrapping under the pillow if needed. Just a scrappy kind of strip quilt with some rectangles thrown in for fun (lol). As always, done with quilt as you go technique.

Interesting & beautiful scrap quilt. Wondering how you made it QAYG?

Serita, I love your scrappy quilt. Which QAYG method did you use? In your photo one can't even tell it is a QAYG. Great job.

I mostly use Kaye Wood's six hour quilt method. Sometimes I use sashing but most of the time, they are done using her method. There's a youtube video and a book (which I ended up buying also). The book is more like a pamphlet, very thin.

Every time I post one of my quilts, someone always mention they can't tell it's a quilt as you go. I like it!

Basically, I use Kaye Wood's six hour quilt technique modified slightly without the serger and going in whatever direction I want. The video is a detailed tutorial and worth viewing, for sure. I also bought the book, more like a thin pamphlet.

I don't know if I'd call it a design, just putting fabrics together where I could fit them (lol). The strips work up a little faster for me, but I always end up adding rectangles somewhere in the mix.

Somebody said it reminded them of a minecraft game??? I wasn't even sure what that was. Still not really sure (lol).
