Twirling Stars
2 Attachment(s)
As most of you know, I recycle. I found the backing first and it inspired this quilt. I used a free pattern from the Accuquilt site, but left off the inside border and altered the size to make it fit the backing. This is my first "real" quilt on my longarm. I did several practice quilts to start. I am learning how to quilt swirls from some excellent YouTube Jamie Wallen videos.

I used a 3 1/2 (3" finished square) and the chisel shape (#50148) and 2 1/2 " strip cutter.

Wish I could find something like your neat backing, my small town thrift shop does not have such useful things.
The pattern and colors are very cheerful, good job on the quilting. |
