Looking good. Practice having the feathers going in different directions. It's the only way to get the hang of them. :) I'm assuming you have a LA. You can put a practice piece up and just play around with feathers. You will be amazed at how quick you can get the hang of them. :)

Congraulations on your first attempt with feathers. They look fantastic!

You have done a wonderful job quilting your own quilt. I practice all the time and my quilting isn't nearly as good as yours.
|
You did good work on your feathers.
|
Really looks great. I knew that you could do it. You sure have been busy this last week.
Take care |
Barb_MO, that is the method this video teaches. It is a lot easier than it looks!

I saw a video the other day where the quilter was putting a little bump on tops of the feather to get to the place where she needed to get to the place to make the next feather, instead of backtracking. Every other feather has the bump over it. It looked good. I'm going to try that next time.

An admirable job.

Your feathers and the rest of the quilt look wonderful! If I could do as well, I would quilt ALL my quilt tops that are piled up in the corner. Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations!

Feathers are my goal....I can do them on a practice peice but am afraid to put them on a real quilt! You are brave! Nice work.

You did great!! After almost 12 years of quilting, I still can not quilt the "over the top" version of feathers.
