Twist and turn DP9P

Here is a scrappy quilt top pieced but not bordered yet, that I trialled using some "why did I buy this" fabric (the yucky beige). I found the pattern on the net. It is not a quilt that I like particularly but I it was a learning experience. I mis-laid the pattern for weeks, finally came upon it last week. I was unable to figure out how I had done the blocks so desperately needed to have the pattern to do four more.
Have to decide now which distasteful fabric from my stash to border it with, but I hope it will help lift it whatever I choose. I will probably donate it to Cancer Research or Salvation Army. It's sort of manly I think so may help keep someone warm. Then again it may be an Ugly Duckling scenario and become a beautiful Swan I don't think so!

I think it is a very nice quilt and someone is going to love it. I love bright colors but this is lovely.

It's a lovely quilt! You're doing a beautiful job -- and remember, what you don't like, someone else will LOVE! : )

I would use the small square colour for border. But personally I love it.

i love the design and do not find the beige all that disagreeable. as you say, it looks manly and i'm sure some man would love to have it as his own. you did a great job on it.

I think the ugly duckling is destined to become a swan! Your borders can make all the difference. I think it would look good with a creamy inner border, then a bit more of your background, a narrow strip of the dark brown and then a final border of that pretty color with the leaves (which if you have my luck there probably isn't any more of. LOL!)

I love D9p this one is a version I've never seen, but would love to do!

I would do a small light beige border to frame it then do a wide dark border, just my thoughts

I forgot to add that I like the quilt and can you tell me the name of the pattern?

What a great twist on the D9P.
