I always tell myself that sometimes fabrics and quilts need to age "like fine wine", (stole that phrase from a friend), and each quilt has their own time to be finished, although sometimes we need to give them a healthy nudge. LOL. I'd say your quilt was well worth the wait, it's absolutely gorgeous.
