Thanks everyone.
I don't know that I won anything. In fact, I wasn't even told I won. My sister received an e-mail from the Guild with the winners listed and she had to forward it to me. The link to the pattern is on the top of Page 2 of this post. I hope someone else tries it, you might find it's not that hard. |
I love this! I want to learn paper piecing but I think I will start with something a bit simpler. But this is definately on my list of to do :)

Sandybeach::::How in the world did you do that? It's beautiful and so different. :!:

I absolutely love you quilt... was it a pattern from a book? I would love to see or be able to get the pattern. Who was the designer? If you don't mind sharing. Thanks Quilter 1234

Thanks for posting your beautiful quilt. I also made one and have it hanging in my entry just for the WOW factor...get losts of complements too. Wasn't it FUN to make?

WOW - just love the quilt.......... Oh and the colors are the big wow factor.
Now I know what my next challenge will be. Will have to get this pattern for sure. Thanks for sharing. |
That is beautiful,I love to paper piece. Looks hard though.

Its not very hard, you just have to be organized. Making a color coded drawing worked for me, then I numbered each triangle and color, precut my fabric to the correct length and width. Each triangle took me about 1 hour but it was worth it!

This is the best site I found for the pattern. You can click on the pictures to "save as" them and they will print out bigger. Other links from here, too! Enjoy your day!
(Would help if I put in the link.) http://sites.google.com/site/compend...abinquiltblock |
