Several months ago, a friend of my son's had twins. Have just now finished up the baby quilts...just in time for the WONDERFUL hot (note sarcasm here) Georgia summers. Told her maybe she could use them as pallets on the floor as they got bigger... Anyway, here they are:

This is the one for the little boy. Loved this pattern. Twisted Star from Missouri Star Quilt company. Free on Youtube.

Awesome quilts!! They would make great floor mats as they are so bright and fun and would catch the babies' eyes. :) Great job!

Both are sweet. And don't worry about getting them done in time for heat season. They can be used under babies on floor. And they will cover them perfectly for next few years. They might become their favorite drag around blankeys. Hope you don't mind that thought

That's exactly what I told my son when he took them to his friend... Tell her she can use them for pallets on the floor since they will be sitting up soon etc. I like for them to be used!
