Two Falling Charms Tops just finished for a customer

2 Attachment(s)
I just finished these two tops for a customer... 65" x 78" each. They look the same but the second one has some pinwheels in place of the charms. These seemed to take forever to piece! I thought this pattern would be as quick as a D9P, but no way...

She sent me these pretty fabrics she wanted used, and I only added a few from my stash to round things out. I hope she likes them!

Beautiful!..and very creative! I love the way you organized the diagonal stripes in the greens and reds/oranges. And yes, the pinwheels are a great touch!

Very attractive quilts. The pattern does look easy but guess it was not as quickly done as you thought it would be--sorry to hear that they were hard to piece. They still turned out beautiful.

Looks great, so bright!

Neat design to put those pinwheels in ever so often. I found that the Warm Wishes goes together even quicker than a D9P. This quilt is on my Bucket List. One day I will find the right fabrics for making one.

Very pretty. Are you going to quilt them? If so, how?

I most likely won't see them finished... I just made the tops and sent them back to my customer. I won't get to quilt them. I have three more tops to do for this lady. Good customer!

Actually the piecing was nothing... it was the placement that was hard. I had so many different fabrics and had to have some sort of plan for their layout. I tried several things before I got something that worked.
