Nice first project! Even though they are the same pattern the fabric choices make them so different. I have made quilts that way with a favorite pattern and different material. Welcome to the Board.

What fun to have a DD that will share quilting. In our guild there is a member who has 3 daughters who share her love of quilting. Its so much fun watching them at retreat, each has a different sense of colors so its really fun seeing them work on the same project. 4 people -4 different color schemes.

You both did beautiful work. But, the most important thing is that you did it together! Now, THAT'S something to be proud of!
