Those are very nice. I like how the blocks are broken up and those pieces subsequently redistributed

You are right, it's one of John Kubinecs Quilt pattern. I have one of his books.

The red/ white Quilt Pattern comes from a Book: "A New Spin on Drunkard's Path" by John Kubiniec.
There was a similar or even the same one in a magazine way back ...McCall's Quilting, March/April 2013
